The Huddersfield Royal Hospital Ward 18 refurbishment has provided 15 new en-suit bedrooms with enhanced ventilation, utility rooms and new staff accommodation, giving Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust more capacity to respond to the Covid19 pandemic. From order confirmation to installation, this project was complete in 3 ½ weeks! The patients were moved into the ward only four days later. WorkSpace supplied and installed Group 1&2 clinical furniture, FF&E and other bespoke joinery including a toughened glass protective screen for the reception desk. This project was a great demonstration of teamwork and collaboration from all involved.
